Hello and welcome to Mr. Raynor's 2nd grade class. This is my 7th year working at Selma Elementary and my 2nd year teaching. Im from Newton Grove, NC, and I graduated from the University of Mount Olive with my Bachelors of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education. Im a big NC State fan, and as well as a Dallas Cowboy fan. I enjoy going to the beach and spending time with my family and friends. Im so excited about this year!

JCPS Virtual Academy Interest Survey
Now more than ever, we are aware of the many different needs of our students and families. As we begin planning for the 2021-22 school year, we are seeking feedback from parents to gauge interest in establishing a Johnston County Public Schools Virtual Academy, as an alternative to the face-to-face instruction environment for students. We are asking for your input by completing an online interest survey.

JCPS High School Graduation and Prom details
Johnston County Public Schools has developed a detailed plan to mark senior milestones, including prom and graduation, while adhering to guidance from the Johnston County Public Health Department and the CDC in regards to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Pre-K - 5th Grade to return to Plan A on March 1
The Johnston County Board of Education voted to return Pre-K - 5th grade to Plan A, four days per week, beginning on Monday, March. 1.
