NCStar is a web-based tool that guides a district or school team in charting its improvement and managing the continuous improvement process. NCStar builds accountability as well as helps schools track their improvement plans.

By June 2023, Riverwood Elementary School students will increase overall academic proficiency in Reading by 12.6 percentage points from 59.9 to 72.5, academic proficiency in math by 6.3 % points from 72.5 to 78.8, and overall academic proficiency in Science by 5.6 % points from 73.9 to 79.5.

By June 2023, Riverwood Elementary School students will increase overall academic proficiency in Reading for the following subgroups:  SWD in Reading by 7.5 percentage points from 18.2 to 25.7 and EL in Reading by 10 percentage points from 23.8 to 33.8. By June 2023, Riverwood Elementary School students will increase overall academic proficiency in Math for the following subgroups: SWD  in Math  by 6.2 percentage points from 31.8 to 38 and EL in Math by 15 percentage points from 33.3 to 48.3.

By June 2023, Riverwood Elementary School students will increase student perception of student engagement by 6 percentage points from 64% to 70% and increase student sense of belonging by 6 percentage points from 66% to 72%.
