Hello, My name is Ashley Vander Werff. This is my first year at Meadow School. I am teaching general curriculum support for grades K-5th.

A little about my self: I live in johnston County. I graduated from Wesylan College in 2017. I'm Married and have two children and a dog named Lilly. I love to read science fiction novels. I love teaching children and watching them grow.

  • Lunch on 12/17 & 12/18

    Lunch on 12/17 will be chicken nuggets, chicken pastry, or turkey and cheese sandwich. Corn and baked potato, and pinapple tidbits will also be served. Lunch on 12/18 will be tornados, chicken fajita, or cheese bread sticks. Black beans, broccoli and cheese, and apples will also be served.

  • Kindergarten's Thanksgiving Program

    Our Kindergarten classes will have their Thanksgiving Program in the gym at 1:00 on Friday, November 16th. We hope to see many parents in attendance. Our students and their teachers work very hard preparing for this event. This is always a cute performance. :)

  • Red Ribbon Week

    The week of Oct. 21st is Red Ribbon Week, which is a special week celebrated each year during the last full week of October. The purpose of Red Ribbon Week is to bring awareness to the dangers of alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs, and to encourage good decisions and healthy lifestyles. Help show your support for awareness to the dangers of alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs: Tuesday, October 23: Wear Red Thursday, October 25: Put a Cap on Drugs (Wear caps/hats)
