Hello!  My name is Maria Eby.   I am beyond thrilled to be a part of this amazing community and am extremely proud to be a Dragonfly:).  I have a husband  two wonderful sons and an amazing daughter -in-law.  Over the years I have taught almost all grades K-6,  as well as served as a curriculum coach.  This will be my fifth year teaching 4th grade here at Dixon Road Elementary. I love teaching and work hard to routinely integrate the arts as well as project-based learning into our classroom.

  • JC Board of Education Budget Work Session set for June 29

    The Johnston County Board of Education will meet virtually to hold a special work session to discuss and vote on items for the 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 budgets. The meeting and all announcements will be accessible to the public via the livestream available online.

  • JCPS Summer Hours

    Johnston County Public Schools will be moving to summer office hours on June 13. School and district offices will operate on a four-day work week.  Offices will be open from 7:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. Mondays through Wednesdays and 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Thursdays. The summer schedule will continue until August 11. All offices will be closed on July 4.

  • 2022 Summer Information Fair Dates Set

    Johnston County Public Schools is always striving to provide students and families with exemplary service. In most cases, school bus transportation is essential for many students to access a quality education. In order to meet our daily goal, it is necessary to implement change that enhances and improves our overall operation. As we prepare for the 2022-2023 school year, JCPS Transportation Services and School Nutrition will be hosting a Summer Information Fair at each high school.
