LaTonya Thomas

My name is LaTonya Thomas and I have been teaching for 6 years. I enjoy working at Benson Elementary School and am very blessed to be a part of this great school community. I love my job and all my students. I have always wanted to be a teacher and make a difference in a child's life. God has blessed me with two handsome young men; whom are my pride and joy. I graduated from Mount Olive University of Wilmington with a B-K degree.

  • Updated Social Distancing Procedures

Information on social distancing in school settings has been recently updated by the NC Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS). Upon receiving information from the NCDHHS, we consulted with the Johnston County Public Health Department on the impact these updates will have on our school system. This ongoing collaboration continues to guide our decision-making as students return to classrooms for in-person instruction.
