Mr. Thomas Morris

Mr. Morris was raised in Franklin County near the small town of Bunn.  After graduating from Bunn High School in 1987, he attended North Carolina State University as a member of North Carolina's first class of Teaching Fellows, and graduated with cum laude honors in 1991.  He then began his career in Wake County at Garner Senior High School as a science teacher, where he taught four years before returning home to his native Franklin County.  He then taught for a total of 21 years with Franklin County Schools, with most of those years as a science teacher at Bunn High School and Franklinton High School.  He and his family moved to Johnston County in June of 2018 to be closer to family, where he was fortunate to become the TED teacher at McGee's Crossroads Middle School.

Mr. Morris's interests include console gaming (Xbox only, please!), working outdoors in the yard and garden,  spending time at the beach with family, and being an avid sports fan, especially when NC State teams are involved! Go Pack!
