Mrs. Nicole Hughes

I am so excited to be teaching 6th grade ELA for the 2019-2020 year! I truly enjoy sharing my love for writing and literature with students. This is my 10th year teaching and it is a profession I am so very proud of. I have a journalism degree from the University of Rhode Island and earned my teaching credential at the San Diego State University. I have lived in Johnston County since 2008 but I grew up in Rhode Island. My husband Frank and I have 2 kids: Ethan, 6, and Carly, 3. I enjoy spending time with my family. I am looking forward to an awesome school year!
