Hello!  I am Christie Stephenson and I am a fifth grade ELA/SS teacher at Four Oaks Elementary.  I graduated from Johnston Community College with an Associate Degree in Business, Fayetteville State University with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and from East Carolina University with a Masters of Library Science.  I received my AIG certification from Barton College.  Prior to becoming a teacher, I was the Public Relations Director for WRDC-TV UPN 28 in Raleigh, NC.  I am a product of Four Oaks Elementary and I am excited to be back here teaching children from my hometown.  I have a daughter in 9th grade and a son in 4th grade.

JCPS Announcements

  • JCPS Summer Hours

    Johnston County Public Schools will be moving to summer office hours on June 13. School and district offices will operate on a four-day work week.  Offices will be open from 7:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. Mondays through Wednesdays and 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Thursdays. The summer schedule will continue until August 11. All offices will be closed on July 4.

  • 2022 Summer Information Fair Dates Set

    Johnston County Public Schools is always striving to provide students and families with exemplary service. In most cases, school bus transportation is essential for many students to access a quality education. In order to meet our daily goal, it is necessary to implement change that enhances and improves our overall operation. As we prepare for the 2022-2023 school year, JCPS Transportation Services and School Nutrition will be hosting a Summer Information Fair at each high school.

    Johnston County Public Schools Chief of Facilities and Construction Brooks Moore presented the 2022 Growth Needs Update to the Johnston County Board of Education at their March meeting.
