Mrs. Suzanne Smith

Hi, I'm Mrs. Smith! Teaching is an absolute passion of mine. I am very excited to have the opportunity to be a part of your child's life and education this year! 

I have lived in Goldsboro/Princeton most of my life but I am originally from Alabama. (War Eagle!) 

I am married to my wonderful husband Ken and we have two children Bethany and Brock. We also have a sweet fur baby named Sophie. We enjoy going to the beach, camping, fishing and cooking out at home.

I am a graduate of Faith Christian, and North Carolina Wesleyan College.

The 2019-2020 school year is my eleventh year of teaching. I have taught Pre-K, Kindergarten and First grade. It is my mission to instill a love for learning in my students so they will become life-long learners.  

I am looking forward to a fun and successful year with you and your child!

  • Innovative Programs Virtual Family Information Nights Scheduled

    Johnston County Public Schools invites students and their families to learn more about our interesting options for our middle and high school students during our Virtual Information Nights on January 28 and February 4, 2021. Participants will be able to visit the virtual spaces for each program and talk with program coordinators and students from 6:00-8:00 pm.

  • JCPS transitions to Plan B for all students

    The Johnston County Board of Education voted to return all Pre-K and EC-Self Contained students to Plan B, four days per week, beginning on Tuesday, Jan. 19. These students will participate in face-to-face instruction on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, with Wednesday serving as a remote learning day. All other students in grades K-12 will remain on Plan C until Monday, Feb. 1.

  • High School State Assessments Update

    On December 8th 2020, the Johnston County School Board of Education voted to return to Plan C (Remote Learning), we would like to provide an update to parents and guardians of options to complete state-mandated End-of-Course (EOC) and Career/Technical Education Post Assessment testing.
