    We hope that you and your student have already noticed some of the exciting new food and  meal opportunities we are offering in our cafeterias this school year. Our new options will include more fresh produce, vegetarian options, and opportunities for students to customize their meal choice.     JCECA Students Encourage the Next Generation

    G-Force Robotics, a high school robotics team and SWENext club (Society of Women Engineers) located in Clayton, N.C., celebrated National Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day on Saturday, Feb. 25, 2023 by inviting local elementary and middle school girls to their build space to showcase how engineering principles are a major part of their FIRST Robotics Competition team. Two Johnston County Early College Academy STEM students who are part of the team helped showcase what it means to be a girl in engineering.

    JCECA Students Use Robotics Training to Help Local Veterans

    Ask any member of G-Force Robotics what her team is about and you’re likely to hear two things: robots and community service. This all-girl, high school FIRST Robotics Competition team started in April 2022 with a mission of inspiring and empowering young women in STEM and robotics, and making a difference in their community.
