Degrees and Certifications:

Bachelors of Science, Secondary English Education Academic Intellectually Gifted Certified

Ms. Jamie L. White

After graduating from Clayton High, I attended East Carolina University on a teaching scholarship.  I received a degree in Secondary English Education. From there, I moved back to Johnston County and started teaching at Cleveland Middle School.  Four years later, I decided to move to Wilmington to teach at Topsail Middle School.  Later, I followed my dream and moved to New York City. After nine years of big city adventures, I decided it was time to come back home to be close to my family.  All in all, I have 20 years of teaching, training, and management experience. I love literature, but I mostly love opening up a new world of understanding to my students.   My goal  is to see my students grow intellectually as well as emotionally, and ensure they are learning skills today that will impact their tomorrows.

I seek to make a lasting impact in the lives of my students.
