    What is Career Cafe?

    Career Cafe is an initiative aligned with JoCo 2020. The program allows students to explore and discover career paths and build relationships within the local community. Students will be able to learn invaluable insights from guest speakers from a wide variety of career fields. In doing so, students will make connections and build relationships as they begin their future career path.

    Who can sign up?

    Students may sign up to attend one of the sessions. Please remember that each session had a limited number of students who will be able to sign up. Please see Mrs. Lynne Miller for more information.

    How does Career Cafe relate to JoCo 2020?

    "We wanted to focus on our Wildly Important Goals that we are using this year in our school system," says Dorlisa Johnson, Principal of McGee's Crossroads Middle. "We felt that Career Cafe related to JoCo 2020. We are focusing on innovation, relevance, and relationships and this provides an opportunity for our students to connect with the community."

  • 2021-2022 JCPS Preschool applications now open

    The online application for the Johnston County Public Schools Preschool Program is now available. Parents who are interested in the JCPS Preschool Program are encouraged to apply early, as availability is on a first come, first served basis. The application window closes on June 30th.

  • JCPS releases updated graduation and prom details

    Johnston County Public Schools has updated its plan to mark senior milestones, including prom and graduation while adhering to guidance from the Johnston County Public Health Department and the CDC in regards to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

  • Pre-K - 5th Grade to return to Plan A on March 1

    The Johnston County Board of Education voted to return Pre-K - 5th grade to Plan A, four days per week, beginning on Monday, March. 1.
