Degrees and Certifications:

Tennille Collins-Mills

I am an Exceptional Children's Teacher. I have 10 wonderful students that are a joy to teach! My teacher assistant, Mrs. Rebecca Smith, is a pleasure to work with. Together, we try our best to meet the needs of all of our students. I am originally from South Carolina. My Bachelor of Arts Degree was earned at Coastal Carolina University. I live with my husband, 2 children, and a dog. I am proud to be a part of the Benson Elementary team!

*I hope all is well with you and your family. Please tell your child that Mrs. Smith and I are thinking of them and miss them dearly!
Governor Roy Cooper has ordered school to be closed through May 15th. This week, we are putting together online resources for your child to access from home beginning the week of March 30th. I will contact you as soon as it is all ready. In the meantime, there are already some online resources listed on the Benson Elementary School website on the homepage. Please feel free to contact us on Class Dojo with any questions or concerns. Let's continue to practice social distancing so that we can keep ourselves and others safe! Thank you and take care!
