Mrs. Amber N. Ellis
I'm so glad that you made it to my class webpage! My name is Mrs. Ellis, and I am so excited to work with this community! I teach second grade at McGees Crossroads Elementary School. My goal is to foster a love for learning in each and every student. I am in my third full year teaching; I graduated December 2017 with my Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education from East Carolina University. I am excited to work with students, parents, and the community.
I am the oldest of three children; I have a younger sister, and my younger brother who gave me two adorable nephews. I am also married to the love of my life since August 2017. In my free time, I enjoy reading, writing, and spending time with friends and family. Feel free to contact me if you ever have questions or concerns!

Information on social distancing in school settings has been recently updated by the NC Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS). Upon receiving information from the NCDHHS, we consulted with the Johnston County Public Health Department on the impact these updates will have on our school system. This ongoing collaboration continues to guide our decision-making as students return to classrooms for in-person instruction.
