Ms. Brittany Ledford
Hi! I am Brittany Ledford, Kindergarten teacher. This is my fourth year at Cooper Academy. I graduated from East Carolina University with a degree in Early Childhood Education: Birth-Kindergarten. I worked in childcare for four years. So, in total I have been working with children for 7 years!
I am so excited for the 2020-2021 school year. I know the start of the school year will be much different than other years, but, that is okay. Your child may not physically be in my classroom; however, my promise to you is: I will do my best to make your child feel like they are in the classroom and make this learning experience fun and engaging.
We are in this together.
My motto for this school year: Be Kind. Be Patient. Be Strong.

Information on social distancing in school settings has been recently updated by the NC Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS). Upon receiving information from the NCDHHS, we consulted with the Johnston County Public Health Department on the impact these updates will have on our school system. This ongoing collaboration continues to guide our decision-making as students return to classrooms for in-person instruction.
