I am so excited to be back with returning students and welcome our newest ones to our school community!
This is my second year at WCES. This year is going to be full of fun, learning, and growing. Students will learn lots of new social/emotional skills in classroom guidance lessons and be able to participate in school wide programs. I can’t wait!
As a counselor, I work alongside teachers and parents to help students develop socially and emotionally, and to help remove any barriers they might have to learning. This year I will provide classroom lessons, small group counseling, short-term individual counseling, consultation with parents and teachers etc. Examples of what can be covered during lessons and counseling sessions include: making and keeping friends, conflict resolution, managing feelings, and goal setting.
Students are taught how to see me in school. Please feel free to contact me at any time during the year to discuss your child’s needs, if you have concerns or questions, and/or need further resources.
