Mrs. Skillern
Hello, my name is Lisa Skillern and I am very excited to be your child's Kindergarten teacher this school year. I have been working in the early childhood field for 23 years and love what I do. I graduated from Western Carolina University with a BA in Birth - Kindergarten. This is my 15th year teaching kindergarten, and 6th year at Riverwood. My goal is to provide children with the foundation and the tools they need to become successful life-long learners wherever life takes them. My husband and I have 3 sons and we are a military family. I enjoy traveling, shopping and movies. I’m looking forward to a fun, exciting and wonderful school year!
