Mrs. Lisa Scott
I have been happily married to Michael for 24 years and we have a twelve year old son, Caden. When we are not on the baseball field, we enjoy going to the beach. I graduated from East Carolina University in 1995 with a Bachelor's degree in Child Development and Family Relations. I graduated again from ECU in 2015 with a K-6 teaching license. I teach 5th grade Math and Science. I am excited to call PES home and am thankful to be able to teach some amazing students! My goal is to make each day engaging and relevant.

Johnston County Public Schools will be moving to summer office hours on June 13. School and district offices will operate on a four-day work week. Offices will be open from 7:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. Mondays through Wednesdays and 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Thursdays. The summer schedule will continue until August 11. All offices will be closed on July 4.
Johnston County Public Schools is always striving to provide students and families with exemplary service. In most cases, school bus transportation is essential for many students to access a quality education. In order to meet our daily goal, it is necessary to implement change that enhances and improves our overall operation. As we prepare for the 2022-2023 school year, JCPS Transportation Services and School Nutrition will be hosting a Summer Information Fair at each high school.
Our district is launching a new portion of our website to further communicate bus delays and replacements with our families. We encourage those who have a student who utilizes our transportation to get to or from school to visit www.johnston.k12.nc.us/busdelays for updates on our school bus routes beginning Tuesday, January 18.
The Johnston County Board of Education voted unanimously to approve the 2022 Johnston County Public Schools salary schedule at their regularly scheduled Dec. 14 meeting.
