Degrees and Certifications:
Mrs. Wendy Music
I am excited to be starting my 18th year teaching Mathematics! This is my 3rd year teaching Math 8 and Math 1 in the 8th grade at Riverwood Middle School. I have taught math in all grades from 6th to 12th. I absolutely love the content that I get to teach your child in my math class.
I am originally from Paintsville, Kentucky. I earned my Bachelors Degree in Middle School Education from Morehead State University, where I graduated Magna Cum Laude. I completed my Masters Degree in Principalship/Leadership and my Rank 1 (a KY term for 6th year) in Supervisor of Instruction from Union College with a 4.0 GPA.
My husband of 28 years and I have 3 children. My oldest daughter, Jordan, will complete her BSN this year at Northern Kentucky University. My second daughter, Maddie, is a senior at Clayton High school. My son, Jett, is an 8th grader here at Riverwood Middle School.
I look forward to helping your children grow in their Mathematics skills this year!
