I’m super excited to be part of the kindergarten team at West Clayton for the 2022- 2023 school year! I have worked in an early childhood education setting for more than seventeen years and obtained my teaching degree from East Carolina University. Arrgh! Go Pirates!
I spend my days in the classroom doing what I love; laughing, learning, and having fun alongside our youngest learners. My personal teaching philosophy is based on children being competent and capable drivers of their learning. I am very passionate about providing an environment where children feel confident and secure.
I find the early years to be such an exciting time in a family’s life and I truly enjoy sharing the many trials and triumphs that we all experience as parents. I have three wonderful children. All have walked the halls here at WCES. Go Bull Dogs! I also have a pretty amazing husband too! Even though we are transplants, we have called Clayton our home for more than 23 years.

Updated School Nutrition Information for 2022-23
