Teacher:  Grade 7 Math 

Welcome to 7th Grade!  I'm excited to begin another school year here at Archer Lodge Middle School.  We will learn a lot and strive for growth this year- I hope you're ready!  

I am from Wilson County and received my Bachelors in Middle Grades Education (Math and Social Studies) from East Carolina University.  I began my teaching career at Speight Middle School before moving to Connecticut.  I received my Masters in the Art of Teaching at Sacred Heart University and I spent about a decade teaching 7th Grade Math at a school in northeastern Connecticut before moving back to North Carolina.  I have been at Archer Lodge since and have enjoyed working as both an 8th Grade Math/Math 1 teacher and a 7th Grade Math/ Advanced Math teacher.  No matter the content, if it's Math I love it!  In my spare time I like painting, building miniatures, watching tv, and enjoying time with my family.  I can't wait to meet new students so that we can begin sharing interests and learning to love Math together.
