Mr. Danny Scudiero
Math 1 Teacher
My Philosophy:
My goal is for all of my students to succeed. I believe they are more capable than they think they are and that they can and will succeed. I will coach my students to the best of my ability, but like a coach, I cannot play the game for them. I expect them to pick up the ball (take personal responsibility) and run with it. I hope to instill in my students a desire to perform to the best of their ability and a lifelong interest in math. The most important academic lessons that I can teach students this year are to think for themselves and not to give up when they face a challenge. I will use real life experience to show students how math is integrated into our lives. I will integrate humor and passion into the lessons that I teach. Not only will I teach them the concepts, but also I will have my students take that concept and apply it to a higher learning level skill. I do not accept failure. I look forward to a fun and successful school year
Failure is not an option
I cannot expect passion from my students, if I myself cannot express the passion
