Degrees and Certifications:
Certified 6-12 in English and Social Studies Master's of Education in Curriculum and Instruction National Board Certified
Mrs. Candyce Rand
Welcome to the 2019-2020 school year. This year I am teaching all English III. I graduated from East Carolina in 1999 with a degree in middle grades education. In 2004 I completed a Master's in Curriculum and Instruction, and I received my National Boards Certification in 2006.
I love my ECU Pirates and the Dallas Cowboys! This past April I got married so students will have a new name to learn! I have a dog Zoe who is my boss each and every day. My brother has a daughter, Sutherlin, and a son, Griffin, who are my heart! I grew up in Eastern Wake County in Zebulon, and graduated from East Wake High School in 1995. Please always feel free to let me know if you need anything!
