About the Teacher:

My Name is Crystal Heinzerling, I live in Clayton, NC with my husband and three children.  I have a B.S. degree in Agribusiness from N.C. State University and currently in the process of receiving my Agriculture Education Teaching Certificate from N.C. State University. I have worked in the Agriculture Industry for Farm Bureau and Carolinas Cotton Growers Cooperative. I am most excited to be teaching Ag. Science as a brand new class to 6th-8th Grade Students. This will be a fun and exciting program this year and I look forward to having each student in my class.

  • Graduation Ceremony Information

    At this time, all traditional high school graduations are still planned for May 29. Graduation ceremonies for Johnston County Early College Academy and Johnston County Career and Technical Leadership Academy will now take place on May 16th, rather than the original date of May 15th.

    The April Johnston County Board of Education meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 7. The meeting will begin at 4:00 p.m. and be held in the Evander Simpson Building in Smithfield.
