Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Donna DuPraw

Welcome to the 2019-20 school year!  I am very excited about this upcoming school year.

I relocated to Johnston County during the summer of 2017 and am excited to be at Polenta.  I received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education from Florida Gulf Coast University.  Throughout my years of teaching, I have taught grades PreK-3rd.  I earned an ELL endorsement and Gifted certification.  I look forward to working with your child this year to grow and learn!

I have a full-time instructional assistant, Ms. Seagroves.  We have worked together for the last 2 years.  Ms. Seagroves helps with small groups throughout the day.

We look forward to getting to know you and your child.

I love the color purple, math, and doing science experiments.  I enjoy finding new and creative activities to bring into the classroom. Some of our favorite goodies are plain M&M's, Flipz, pineapple, watermelon, water, and Starbuck's caramel iced coffee.

Ms. Seagroves loves the color blue, writing, and reading.  Her favorite things are M&M's, Pringles, and Mountain Dew.

Our classroom favorites are scented markers, stickers, clipboards, cardstock, construction paper, bandaids, dry erase markers, and office supplies (staples, paper clips, post-it notes).
