Degrees and Certifications:
Mrs. Donna DuPraw
Welcome to the 2020-21 school year!
I relocated to Johnston County during the summer of 2017 and am excited to be at Polenta. I received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education from Florida Gulf Coast University. Throughout my years of teaching, I have taught grades PreK-3rd. I have earned an ELL endorsement and Gifted certification during my career. I am on our school's safety committee. I enjoy finding new and creative activities to bring into the classroom to make learning fun. I look forward to getting to know your child this year as we grow and learn together! This is going to be an exciting year!
Get to know Mrs. DuPraw:
I love the color purple, going to the beach, being outdoors, math, and doing science experiments. Some of my favorite goodies are plain M&M's, Flipz, pineapple, watermelon, water, and Starbuck's caramel iced coffee.
My favorite classroom supplies are scented markers, stickers, clipboards, cardstock, construction paper, bandaids, dry erase markers, and office supplies (laminating sheets, staples, paper clips, post-it notes).
