Mr. Lee Hudson

Stay safe and enjoy your summer!

Hope to see you in the fall at WJHS. :)

I am from Mount Olive, NC (Wayne County) and graduated from Mount Olive College (UMO) in 2001. After earning my degree in Social Studies Education, I taught for three years at Pamlico County High School near New Bern, NC.  I started in Johnston County Public Schools in 2004 at West Johnston High School. I have also worked at Powhatan Elem. School and Polenta Elem. School.  It is with excitement and enthusiasm that I return to WJHS to share my love for learning with my students.  I am committed to providing meaningful and engaging learning experiences for my students.

  • Updated Social Distancing Procedures

Information on social distancing in school settings has been recently updated by the NC Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS). Upon receiving information from the NCDHHS, we consulted with the Johnston County Public Health Department on the impact these updates will have on our school system. This ongoing collaboration continues to guide our decision-making as students return to classrooms for in-person instruction.
