Hi students and parents! This is my 5th year teaching at West Johnston. I have 21 years of nursing experience in the hospital setting and will be teaching Nursing Fundamentals (CNA) and Health Science II. I was born in Raleigh and grew up in Durham County. I am passionate about healthcare and look forward to getting to know you and helping you figure out your interests. I am also a HOSA co-advisor and will be encouraging you to join!
I have been married 12 years and I have 1 son who is 24 and 2 step-sons who are 24 and 32. All 3 of which went to West. I have two grandchildren whom I adore! I have two dogs - Darcy and Maggie, and 2 cats - Chloe and Elmo. I enjoy traveling, spending time at the beach, kayaking, and gardening. My faith keeps me grounded, and I am a die hard Tar Heel fan!! Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns.
