Meet Mrs. Chidsey

Birthday: February 10

Birthplace: Fairport, New York 

Teaching History: This will be my 9th year teaching and my 1st in 4th grade! I taught 5th grade here at West Clayton last year! I have also taught 2nd grade and 6th grade.

More about me: I am originally from Rochester, New York, and moved to North Carolina in the summer of 2008. I graduated from SUNY Oneonta (Go Red Dragons!) in 2008 with a degree in Elementary Education.  I live in Garner with my amazing husband Mike and my three wonderful step children. Aiden is in 10th grade at West Johnston High School, Cameron is in 8th grade at McGees Middle, and Lainey is in 2nd grade at McGees Elementary! In my free time I enjoy reading, traveling, live music, college basketball & pro football (Go Syracuse, Go Lions!), and my adorable dogs Friend and Daisy (a Pug and a Shih Tzu).
