Welcome to Ms. Watson’s class where “We Are Family”. I will begin by introducing myself. I am from Smithfield, N.C. graduated from Smithfield Selma Senior High School. I am a graduate of Essex County College in New Jersey where I obtained my A.S. in Early Childhood Education and Mount Olive University where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education.
My passion is teaching. I believe that every child can learn. We all learn different that’s what make us unique. It is with all the compassion in me to teach our children and give them the knowledge to make them productive citizens. Each student is an individual and as a whole class we are a Family learning from each other this important to me. I am looking forward to a successful 2019-2020 school year.

Our school will host the first ever Invention Convention for any students willing to participate in grades 2-5 on February 27th. This event is run similar to a science fair. Students will design, test, improve and bring their results to the Invention Convention. Informational fliers will be sent home with any students wanting to participate.
