Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Anna Hales

This is my sixth year at CHES. For the past three years I have had the pleasure of being the STEM teacher. This year, I am returning to the classroom to teach 5th grade math and science. I have taught 5th grade in the past, and have thoroughly enjoyed it. In addition to teaching at CHES I have taught at Wilson's Mills, Cooper, and Schutz American school in Egypt.

I am happy to say that I have my dream job, and I absolutely adore the students and staff here. I can't wait to see what this year has in store!

A little bit more about me:

I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. I love to travel, scuba dive, crochet, draw, and hiking is one of my favorite hobbies. My husband's name is John-Mark. He graduated from NC State. We had our first child in February- Abigail. We also have two pug puppies named Percy and Pluto.
