I am originally from Southern Virginia. I graduated from High Point University in 1997 with a BS in Science and Education. In 2002, I graduated from Lynchburg College with a M.Ed. in Counseling. In 2007 I obtained my MBA.

I have been in "an area of education" since 1997. I have been a School Counselor at SJHS since 2002.

I love all things beach, Jimmy Buffett and flamingos. I have two sons, Ethan and Jake, who keep my husband and I very busy. We also have 2 dogs, 2 turtles, 2 rabbits, 8 chickens and fish galore!
