I am originally from Southern Virginia. I graduated from High Point University in 1997 with a BS in Science and Education. In 2002, I graduated from Lynchburg College with a M.Ed. in Counseling. In 2007 I obtained my MBA.

I have been in "an area of education" since 1997. I have been a School Counselor at SJHS since 2002.

I love all things beach, Jimmy Buffett and flamingos. I have two sons, Ethan and Jake, who keep my husband and I very busy. We also have 2 dogs, 2 turtles, 2 rabbits, 8 chickens and fish galore!

  • Updated School Nutrition Information for 2022-23

    We hope that you and your student have already noticed some of the exciting new food and  meal opportunities we are offering in our cafeterias this school year. Our new options will include more fresh produce, vegetarian options, and opportunities for students to customize their meal choice. These new offerings will be available at both breakfast and lunch.
