B.S. in Elementary Education Reading Concentration

Mrs. Dawn Pellegrino

I have always had a passion for teaching which is why I decided to follow my heart and make a career change. I graduated from East Carolina University in December of 2010. I joined Riverwood in 2011 and I have taught kindergarten and fourth grade.  I was born and raised in New Jersey and relocated to North Carolina, and love it! I am married and have two older stepsons and a 5-year-old daughter and a 6-month-old son. In my spare time, I enjoy spending quality time with family and friends, traveling, cooking and shopping.  I am looking forward to a successful year!
