Mrs. Rebecca Adams

Hello! My name is Rebecca Adams and I teach Kindergarten here at Dixon Road Elementary. This will be my seventh year teaching within the Johnston County Public School System. I have taught Kindergarten and First Grade. I graduated from East Carolina University with a bachelors degree in Elementary Education with a reading concentration. I live in Dunn and have been married for six years to my husband, Holden. We have two dogs named Bubba and Maggie. I enjoy going to the beach, spending time with family and friends and going shopping. I am so excited to be apart of the Dixon Road Elementary family!

  • Kids Heart Challenge

    Congratulations Dragonflies on a job well done with the Kids Heart Challenge this year!! Our school raised over $8,600 for the American Heart Association. Please make sure that all donations are complete and turned in to Coach Bullock NO LATER THAN Wednesday, March 8th. Thank you again for being a "heart hero" and helping others.

  • Summer Camp Opportunity

    The SECU Summer Camp Awards Program is back!  SECU plans to provide FAT CAT youth members, ages 12 and under along with Zard youth members, ages 13-19, with scholarships for summer camp registration and associated fees.

  • Updated School Nutrition Information for 2022-23

    We hope that you and your student have already noticed some of the exciting new food and  meal opportunities we are offering in our cafeterias this school year. Our new options will include more fresh produce, vegetarian options, and opportunities for students to customize their meal choice. These new offerings will be available at both breakfast and lunch.
