 Hello!  It is my pleasure to serve as the School Media Coordinator at North Johnston Middle School, home of the Jaguars! I have 36 years of experience in education, the last 17 years right here at NJMS. I have also taught in Florida and Pennsylvania.  I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Special Education and a Masters of Library Science degree in School Media, both from East Carolina University!   • Asynchronous Wednesdays

    Beginning Wednesday, September 16, there will be no live Google Meet sessions for students. On Wednesdays, students will have time for independent study, to complete and submit assignments if needed, and to complete posted work for the day.

  • Innovative Programs Virtual Family Information Nights Scheduled

    Johnston County Public Schools invites students and their families to learn more about our interesting options for our middle and high school students during our Virtual Information Nights on January 28 and February 4, 2021. Participants will be able to visit the virtual spaces for each program and talk with program coordinators and students from 6:00-8:00 pm.

  • JCPS transitions to Plan B for all students

    The Johnston County Board of Education voted to return all Pre-K and EC-Self Contained students to Plan B, four days per week, beginning on Tuesday, Jan. 19. These students will participate in face-to-face instruction on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, with Wednesday serving as a remote learning day. All other students in grades K-12 will remain on Plan C until Monday, Feb. 1.

    On December 8th 2020, the Johnston County School Board of Education voted to return to Plan C (Remote Learning), we would like to provide an update to parents and guardians of options to complete state-mandated End-of-Course (EOC) and Career/Technical Education Post Assessment testing.
