Mrs. Barefoot

Welcome to Kindergarten!

My name is Nicole Barefoot.  I am 26 years old, I have been married for almost 3 years, I have a son named Noah, and I have a strong passion for teaching.  Currently I live in Meadow, which is also where I grew up as a child.  I graduated high school from South Johnston in 2010.  From there I went to JCC and transferred to East Carolina University where I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education.  I completed my student teaching at Four Oaks Elementary School  in Kindergarten in the fall of 2016.

As a teacher, I believe in building a strong relationship with each and every one of my students.  Your child will know that I care about them.  I believe in doing what is best for your child, even when it means making hard choices.  I promise that I will work as hard as I can for your child so he or she can grow as a learner, as well as a person.

My philosophy to live by is to treat others as the way you wish to be treated.

“Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all.” – Aristotle
