Mr. Roy Harrell
I am a 1987 graduate of Wallace-Rose Hill High School (Go Bulldogs!) in Duplin County and a 1991 graduate of Methodist University (Go Monarchs!) in Fayetteville. I have been teaching Health and PE for 26 years and thoroughly enjoy working with kids. If I can ever be of assistance, please don't hesitate to call/text (910-214-0900) or email me at email@example.com
We will have PE for 5 straight days and then have Health for 5 straight days. Please keep in mind that students come to me every other day (we are on an A/B schedule)....which means it will take approximately "2 weeks" in order for them to get their 5 straight days of PE or Health. In a typical Health unit, they will have classroom lectures (with note taking) and classwork assignments each day for the first 4 days. On the 5th day, we typically will have a test and turn in the work they have done for the first 4 days of class.
For PE each day, students will need appropriate shorts/sweatpants, gym shoes, and a t-shirt (must meet school dress code....NO EXCEPTIONS just because it's PE class!) Students must dress out and participate to get full credit each day of PE.
Johnston County Public Schools will hold a Trades and Classified Staff Job Fair on Thursday, June 27. Attendees can learn how to apply for positions and more about what the district has to offer for our trade and classified professionals.
