Mr. Roy Harrell

I am a 1987 graduate of Wallace-Rose Hill High School (Go Bulldogs!) in Duplin County and a 1991 graduate of Methodist University (Go Monarchs!) in Fayetteville.  I have been teaching Health and PE for 26 years and thoroughly enjoy working with kids.  If I can ever be of assistance, please don't hesitate to call/text (910-214-0900) or email me at

We will have PE for 5 straight days and then have Health for 5 straight days.  Please keep in mind that students come to me every other day (we are on an A/B schedule)....which means it will take approximately "2 weeks" in order for them to get their 5 straight days of PE or Health.  In a typical Health unit, they will have classroom lectures (with note taking) and classwork assignments each day for the first 4 days.  On the 5th day, we typically will have a test and turn in the work they have done for the first 4 days of class.

For PE each day, students will need appropriate shorts/sweatpants, gym shoes, and a t-shirt (must meet school dress code....NO EXCEPTIONS just because it's PE class!)  Students must dress out and participate to get full credit each day of PE.
