I am a graduate of Meredith College with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Biology and a minor in International Studies. I completed additional course work in Genetics at North Carolina State University. After graduating, I was employed with the North Carolina State Crime Laboratory in Raleigh as a body fluid analyst/DNA analyst for 3 years.

This is my third year at Smithfield Middle School where I will be teaching 7th and 8th Grade Science and coaching Cheerleading.
