My name is Beth Phillips and I amproud to be a Mustang.  I received my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from Anderson University in Indiana in 1991. I went on to obtain a Master's Degree in Elementary Education in 2005. I then attended North Carolina State University where I received a Master's Degree in School Administration in 2012.  

I migrated to North Carolina while serving in the U.S. Army. I began my teaching career in JoCo at Cleveland Elementary, where I taught kindergarten, second and third grades. I then transferred to Corinth-Holders Elementary where I served as Curriculum Coach for two years. After that, I was then fortunate to serve two years as curriculum coach and then two years as the assistant principal at Benson Elementary.  From there, I served at West View Elementary, where I had the pleasure of serving three years as an assistant principal. I am delighted to be a part of the Mustang family and begin my 11th year as an assistant principal.

I am committed to building relationships with all stakeholders in the Mustang family.  Our staff is also committed to building an environment that is supportive, respectful and positive to cohesively bond all stakeholders.
