On behalf of the students and staff at Swift Creek Middle School, I would like to welcome you to our school website.  It is a privilege for me to serve as the Principal of Swift Creek Middle School and continue supplying excellence in education for all students.  The strength of our school is the very qualified, effective and committed faculty and staff. Each of them is very interested in working with middle school aged students and this shows every day in our classrooms, our hallways, and our programs.  Our success can also be linked to very involved and supportive parents who have high expectations for their own children and the school itself.  

Our school physically is divided into 3 hallways which organizes students by grade levels, teachers, and counselors in each distinct area of the school.  This minimizes movement of students throughout the day and increases our ability to supervise students effectively to create a safe environment.   

Our website has been designed as a tool to provide better community involvement by offering a means of communications between parents, our community, and particularly our students with our staff.  Swift Creek Middle School believes that communication is vital in the successful development of your child both academically and emotionally and that it provides a significant difference in the way our students learn and interact with their peers.

Mr. Isaac Bruton has worked in public education since 2006.  Originally a high school teacher, Mr. Bruton transitioned to the middle school setting in 2014 and is very happy to be serving the Swift Creek community as an Assistant Principal.  He lives with his wife and three boys in Johnston County.
