    Beta Club Convention

    We need all Beta Club Members to complete the Beta Club Convention survey.

     

    The code for the survey is zmtc6c. (It is a Google docs survey.)

     

    Please complete this no later than Monday, November 19th.

     

    Beta Club Meetings for the Year - Remeber you need to attend 2 meetings throughout the year.  Rides must be here by 4:00.

    December 5th - We will be making Christmas cards, so bring your art supplies.

    Beta Club Induction Ceremony

    The Induction Ceremony will take place in October.

    Junior Beta Club Eligibility Requirements for Beta Club

    Students need to meet the following criteria to be invited to join Beta Club.

    - All grades must be 85 or higher in each class for the whole year.
    - Conduct grades should be S's or O's.
    - Students must have an overall 90 average or better.

    Students need to maintain their grades and behavior. If students do not meet the criteria for a nine week period, then he/ she will be put on probation. If students continue to not to meet the criteria, then he/she will be dismissed from the club.


    Beta Club Dues

    Dues are $20.00 and this is a one-time fee. This covers both national and local fees.

     

    Community Service Hours

     

    Eighth graders will need to do either 15 or 25 hours of Community Service hours. These hours are due by April 12, 2019. (These hours depend on if students submitted hours last year.)


    Seventh graders/ New Members will need to do 10 hours of Community Service hours. These hours are due by April 12, 2019.

    Angel Tree

    Beta Club students will purchase a gift for a needy family. The gift will need to wrapped and brought to school in early December. Beta Club members will receive specific information in November. This project has helped many families in the community and throughout the county.
