    About Fellowship of Christians

Fellowship of Christians is organization open to all students, parents and staff at Riverwood Middle. Our goal is to empower students in prayer to take leadership at Riverwood Middle and in our community. We are a service-oriented group with many community service projects throughout the year including making baskets for the seniors at The Clayton Senior Center, raising money through a school-wide fundraiser to assist local families in need and making fleece blankets to donate to UNC-Children's Hospital.

If you or your child would like to participate in our club, please  email Kim Nappier at kimnappier@johnston.k12.nc.us

    Events and Updates

September 28, 2016:  National See You at the Pole Day
Emma Sanders and Layton York opened our meeting singing "Oceans" by Hillsong United to the accompaniment of Emma's dad, Paston John Sanders

8th grader, Reid McDuff did a fantastic job leading our devotion for SYATP.

Last October, we had a "tailgate party" for a home football game. We listened to Christian music, prayed together, played games of corn hole and shared popsicles and candy with students attending the game.

In November 2015, we collected items over 2,000 items like toiletries, sugar-free candy, books and more! We placed these items in 50 baskets, prayed over the baskets and then took the baskets on an after-school field trip to the Clayton Senior Center in January 2016.

While at the Senior Center, we played Bingo with the seniors and gave the baskets as prizes.

In June of each year, FOC and First Priority host a prayer breakfast to honor our 8th graders who are heading to high school.
