Mrs. Stacey Sharron
Welcome to Kindergarten at Riverwood Elementary School! I am very excited to be your child's teacher this school year! I graduated from the University of Wilmington with a BA in Psychology and continued on with my education at East Carolina University with a focus in teaching Birth-Kindergarten. This will be my 5th year teaching Kindergarten at RES, and I am thrilled to be on this journey with you. I am a strong advocate for creating a positive, nurturing learning environment where students feel empowered, building meaningful relationships with my students and their families, implementing engaging activities that are hands on and relevant, developing opportunities for students to further their interests, and promoting critical thinking in everyday life.
My husband and I have two children *Elicia (14) and Raston (12)* and one chocolate Lab *Brody*. Our family loves to travel, attend sporting events, camp, hike, run, and spend time at the beach.
