Welcome to CTLA!  This is my fifth year as Counselor for CTLA.  I've worked as a School Counselor and private therapist for 30 years with experience in a variety of settings.

I support student success in a number of ways. My primary responsibility is to promote success within the school environment. I recognize that students' overall well-being is fundamental to academic achievement, and I encourage students to see me when encountering academic, social, or personal difficulty. Counselors address the concerns of students and, when necessary, connect them and families with the resources they may need, both inside and outside of school.

A little about me:  I grew up in upstate New York and relocated to North Carolina when I was in high school.  I graduated from North Carolina State University and East Carolina University.  I am licensed  through the NC Department of Public Instruction (K-12) and the NC Board for Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselors (LCMHC).  I am also a National Certified Counselor (NCC).  I am owned by two very spoiled cats, Jingles and Sofie.  I love baseball and always pull for the Yankees.  In my spare time, I'm a photographer and painter and love to travel for new photo opportunities.

My door is open and I look forward to getting to know you!
