Mrs. Suzanne Tart

Welcome to the SJHS Distance Learning Lab!

I am a 1980 graduate of South Johnston High School. I have an Associate degree in Accounting from Johnston Community College and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Atlantic Christian(Barton) College. I am also a National Board Certified Teacher in the area of Career and Technical Education, Business Education, Early Adolescent through Young Adulthood.

At South Johnston I serve as the Distance Learning Lab teacher. Teaching is my passion and, I believe, my calling. Passion creates commitment, enthusiasm, and perseverance which are all essential in a effective teacher. Addressing the skills and abilities of students requires the building of relationships and getting to know each students learning styles, strengths and weaknesses. I strive daily to do all these.
