Mrs. Amanda M. Smith

Welcome!

My name is Amanda Smith and I am a Physical Education teacher who teaches upper level PE and Sports Medicine classes. I am also the First Responder of Athletics - assisting our sports teams here at South Johnston High School.

I graduated from Campbell University in 2011 with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education (K-6). I am currently a graduate student at East Carolina University where I will be receiving my Master's degree in Physical Education. I taught 3rd grade for two years at Coats Elementary (Go Yellow Jackets) before becoming a Trojan! I am now beginning my 12th year in education.
