Ms. Sharon Dufour

Hello and welcome!

It is a great honor that I have the opportunity to serve students in our community by helping each student further their knowledge of mathematics.  I have been teaching in the state of North Carolina for the past 17 years and I truly enjoy being a teacher.  I have taught a variety of math classes including Algebra 1, Geometry and Algebra 2, Math 1, Math 2, Math 3, Math 4, Advanced Functions and Modeling (AFM), Precalculus, and Calculus.  I have also taught the Undergraduate Physics Lab course at East Carolina University where I learned physics really isn't that hard as long as you know the math behind it!  I can say that my experience there is one of several that swayed my decision to become a math teacher.
