Mrs. Jeanette Neyman, Asst. Principal Intern

I am the new Assistant Principal at Princeton High School. I was born in Germany, but grew up in sunny Southern California, where I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Master’s degree in Education. Most recently I am embarking on an additional Master’s degree in Education Leadership from Gardner-Webb University.

I have taught AP Language and Composition, Journalism and English III/IV for 19 years and enjoyed every single day of it. I am also proud to have advised the award winning, nationally recognized Student Media program at West Johnston High School since 2009.

I am a deep believer in being of service to my community and the power of service learning. I advised both Key Club and the Dosomething club for 10 years. Through the club, students and I started the WJ Food Pantry, built houses with Habitat for Humanity and helped run the March of Dimes Walk for Babies each year at RTP.

My husband, Trevor, and I have been married for 25 years and have two grown children, Gabrielle and Noah, who both graduated from West Johnston High School. This summer my husband and I moved from the Cleveland area to Cary to be near the Black Creek Greenway. Occasional weeknights and most weekends are spent cycling the greenways of Cary and Raleigh. We are also avid campers and enjoy spending time cycling in the beautiful North Carolina mountains and at the beach.

I look forward to working with our wonderful students, parents, and community of Princeton. If you have questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to call, email, or stop by. I am truly enjoying getting to know my new community and my new role as assistant principal.
