Ms. Cindy Russell

Hello and Welcome to my page!!! My name is Cindy Russell and I work in Student Development at SSS. I am an advocate for students and their success both at school and in their communities. I am a veteran teacher and have worked many years in Johnston County Public Schools. Prior to my twenty plus years in Johnston County, I worked at Division TEACCH in Charlotte and Chapel Hill.  I graduated from NCSU with a M.Ed in Special Education and Speech/Language. I have been a National Board Certified Teacher for the past 17 years, and I have also coached volleyball for the past 10 years.  Prior to working at SSS, I worked at both the elementary and middle school levels.

Personally, I am the proud mother of a son and a daughter!  I am a beach fanatic and can be found most days away from school at one of our many beautiful East Coast beaches.  When I am home, I enjoy gardening and music.

Please contact me if I can help remove any barriers to successful learning while at SSS.  My extension is 5220.
