Ms. Cynthia Hutchings

 IB Diploma Programme Coordinator

Website: https://bit.ly/IBDPSSS

I was born in Michigan (GO BLUE), and raised in Tampa, FL. I ventured to North Carolina after graduating from an International Baccalaureate Program at Hillsborough High School. I received my undergraduate degree from Campbell University in 2011, and immediately began teaching in Johnston County. I have been a teacher here in Johnston County for 10 years now, with 9 of those years at SSS. During those 9 years I earned a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from North Carolina State University, and I am now working on my D.Ed in Curriculum and Instruction at Gardner-Webb University. While I do not have human children, I am the proud mom of two adopted fur-babies. I currently serve as the IB Diploma Coordinator at SSS. Go Spartans!

As an IB Diploma recipient myself, I am a huge advocate of the IB Program. Whether you are currently an IB student or would just like to learn more about the program, I am always enthused to discuss.
