I hope students and your families are well. As the year winds down to this remarkable ending, please know how much I have enjoyed having you in class and how I look forward to all that you accomplish going forward. Have a safe and wonderful summer.
AVID Advancement Via Individual Determination - How will you move forward?
I am a graduate of Meredith College and North Carolina State University. I have been teaching for 19 plus years. I strive to ensure that every student reaches his or her fullest potential. I believe that content is important. I also believe it is important for us to learn to work with one another - to acknowledge and celebrate our diversity, our strengths, and our talents and to work together on those areas that might need additional support.
In addition to AVID, I am the co-advisor with Ms. Spivey, for the Smithfield Middle National Junior Honor Society.
